Edwin Elliott is a Partner at Shamis & Gentile, P.A. Edwin’s practice focuses on high-level, consumer class actions. Edwin represents clients in federal and state courts across the nation in class actions involving consumer fraud, deceptive and unfair trade practices, predatory financial services, false advertising, digital privacy, and complex insurance disputes.
With experience at all stages of the litigation process, Edwin works closely with clients to ensure they are informed throughout. Edwin’s meticulous attention to detail and results driven tenacity ensure that clients will receive individualized care in crafting creative legal solutions to meet their specific needs.
A life-long Florida native, Edwin received his Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from the Florida State University. Edwin then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was awarded the Class Action & Complex Litigation Endowed Fellowship for his dedication to the practice. While in law school, Edwin competed for the International Moot Court Board, advocated for indigent clients with UM’s Immigration Clinic, and delved into emerging #LegalTech issues as a faculty research assistant. Edwin is admitted to practice in Florida.
